Robert Fabyan

Robert Fabyan has been with Kalitta Air since September of 2001.  He currently holds the position of Director of 145 Quality Control and is responsible for the 145 Repair Station, Inspection, Maintenance Publications, 145 Aircraft and Engine Records, Maintenance Training, Data Processing, Tool Calibration, PMA Division and other Quality Control department functions.

As the Kalitta Maintenance’s primary coordinator for maintenance related FAA activities, Fabyan draws on his experience and professionalism to oversee the 145 Repair Stations compliance of applicable FAA regulations.  

Robert Fabyan brings over 31 years of aviation experience to Kalitta Air/Kalitta Maintenance and holds a FAA Airframe and Powerplant License.  His aviation experience includes aircraft OEM maintenance, line maintenance and hangar maintenance mechanic, Flight mechanic, Maintenance Manager, Technical Writing, Inspector, NDT qualified Inspector, Maintenance and Quality Control Reps, Inspection Supervisor, Manager of Quality Control, Director of Quality Control and 145 Repair Station development.


Don Nolan

director of heavy MAINTENANCE

Don Nolan is the Director of Heavy Maintenance located in Oscoda, Michigan at our aircraft maintenance facility. Don was integral in starting up the Part 121 Oscoda maintenance division/Class IV Part 145 Repair Station (cert. #KO0R718X) and the continuation of its successful operation since 2001. 

Through his diverse background which began with line and hangar maintenance services, Don Nolan has gained over 39 years of aviation experience including: A&P mechanic, maintenance control and logistics; airframe and heavy maintenance contract negotiations; aircraft systems and components repair; and aviation production management.  As a vital company representative for both the Part 121 and Part 145 operations, he utilizes his knowledge and experience in aircraft maintenance to ensure timely departures while remaining focused on quality services and reliability for our fleet and for those of our Part 145 customers. 

Through his years of experience as an airframe and powerplant technician with IAS, PAN AM, UPS, AIA, Kitty Hawk, Timco & Pegasus (among other airlines and leasing entities), Don has amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience in providing maintenance services for a variety of aircraft in commercial, corporate, and other settings.
