Kalitta Air is seeking pilot applicants who are interested in working in the very challenging environment of providing Global Airlift. We have scheduled runs that have our pilots flying around the globe. We also have our AdHoc trips that will take you into parts of the world that are not only challenging, but rewarding on many levels.

Pilot Hiring Minimums:
FAA Multi-Engine Airline Transport Certificate or Restricted Multi-Engine Airline Pilot Certificate
2500 + hours of total time (4,000 preferred)
500 hours turbo-jet or 1500 hours and Graduate of a US Military Training Program and SIC/PIC Type Rating in a Turbojet Aircraft
Current FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate
FCC Radio License
No restrictions on International Travel
Current US Passport
Ability to pass a 10-year security background check and pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test
OUR TRAINING FACILITY:
Kalitta Air’s Training Center offers state of the art training devices, and a highly qualified staff dedicated to meeting all your training needs. Our flight training devices are continually upgraded in order to offer training using current technology which includes items such as Controller Pilot Data Link Communication, Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System, and Electronic Flight Bags. Our simulator maintenance technicians are leaders in the industry, and maintain all of our devices with a near one hundred percent readiness rate to ensure no interruptions during training. Our Instructor staff has an extensive amount of experience and is dedicated to providing quality instruction to each and every one of our students.
