Heading to the disaster area will be hygiene kits, generators, building materials and other emergency relief supplies.
The massive Kalitta Air jet arrived just after 5:30 Friday morning, March 18, 2011.
Those 92 tons are much needed and will add to the 4 tons of supplies the group delivered to Sendai, Japan Thursday via truck convoy.
The Samaritan's Purse team already stationed in Japan delivered water, blankets, hygiene and first aid supplies to a junior high school
in the country where 700 people were living in the gym.
